Sophie's Universe - "Poppies by the Sea" Round 90

Hi, Everyone,

Round 90 of Sophie's Universe is now complete.

The next upcoming 7 rounds is the Butterfly Band.  I'm going to do those rounds as back post stitches instead of normal stitches to add more definition to the band as Dedri suggests.  I can hardly wait to see the result!  Here is a sneak peek of the end of Round 90.

Beautiful . . . absolutely beautiful.

This pattern is phenomenal . . . the more I create it, the more I love it.

Sophie's Universe - "Poppies by the Sea" Part 10

Hi, Everyone,

A few days ago I finished Part 10 of Sophie's Universe.

I named my Sophie "Poppies by the Sea" because I love ocean colours and poppies.
I various shades of teal, turquoise, and aqua accented with red, pink and sage look so beautiful together.

Close up photo of these rows shows just how pretty the Sophie's Universe pattern is.  If you search the internet under Sophie's Universe CAL you will find the free pattern and YouTube videos to complete this wonderful piece of art.

It is a complex pattern with overlay stitches and well worth the effort.  

My favourite so far the raised pink roses and tulips.  

If you go on Pinterest and search Sophie's Universe you will find thousands of different colour variations of this pattern.  Dedri is also coming out with a book very soon for this pattern.

I am so in love with the colours of this project.
