Tim Holtz Style Card - October

Hi, Everyone,
I've been recuperating & putting away from ART Fest for the past week & a half.  What an event that was!

It's great to be back in my craft room, dabbling in my Inka-Gold's again.  This month I have created a beautiful Tim Holtz Style October card using Tim's similar Eroded Metal Technique.  He shares this technique in his Creative Chemistry 102 class which I am currently taking on-line.  I highly recommend taking Tim's 2 classes:  Creative Chemistry 101 & Creative Chemistry 102.  The wealth of knowledge that man possesses is amazing.

There are many techniques out there to create finishes that look like Eroded Metal, Exposed Metal, Rusty Metal, etc. using the many different products available to us today.

I have used Golden Acrylic Paints, DecoArt Metallic Paints, & Ranger Distress Paints to create my own Eroded Metal Finish on the card below.  The Chemist stamp set Tim released is stunning.  I will be using it quite a lot I think.  Blues, greens & bronze blend beautifully together.  Once you accent those colours with Inka-Gold Copper, Haematite & Turquoise . . . you will be blown away.

Have a look at this month's card class:
